Scandia Public Works is seeking to fill two Summer Seasonal positions with individuals willing to learn skills and generate a well-maintained parks and grounds system throughout the city. We can provide an opportunity to build your talents while working in an outdoor setting. Training and safety equipment provided.
$15.00-$17.50/hour - DOQ
Mowing: Duties can include operating riding mowers, push mowers, weed whips, and leaf blowers and other duties as assigned.
Horticulture/Landscape: Maintain landscape beds and hanging flower arraignments at all City Properties. Duties will include planting and pruning flowers/trees/shrubs, weeding gardens, mulching gardens, watering and other duties as assigned.
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F including flexible weekday schedule to accommodate weekend watering.
